Yolanda See Senior Reporter, Darnie Network SUNDAY News

This dog (above) was spotted along Simei Street 1 on Sunday afternoon. Apparently, he was on his way to dinner went spotted in a ocean blue car. What was interesting is that it had its head 'sticking' out and caught many motorists and pedestrains' attention. It was friendly and was not at all causing nuisance. In fact, it greeted all along the way.

During a traffic stop, we managed to interview this dog from our side window (yes, we parked beside it). His name was Goofy. When interviewed why he like his head out, Goofy replied, "I like the feeling of moving air. Constant motion of air keeps my fur in check. Also, it ventilates my owner's car. We share different liking for smell."

When asked if he would ever consider jumping out while on the move, Goofy recalls how dangerous Singapore road is. "I had a friend in the US. His name was MeeSiam. MeeSiam one day decided to commit suicide because his girlfriend, Meepok, had an affair with another dog from college. MeeSiam jumped onto the highway, but the car managed to stop. But I dunno much about the Singapore roads. I like to think that Singapore cars are more likely to flatten an animal than jam-break and risking a collision from behing."

Goofy was kind enough to share with Darnie Network News the footage of the incident (See Below):

Goofy urges Singaporeans to love animals more and not to shelf them when they start to have no time to care for their pets.
