Phua Chu Khang decided that he will employ some foreign workers due to rising cost of singaporean workers who ask for more but deliever less. Thus he ended up employing a worker from India, Malaysia and China. That makes up a indian national, a malay and a chinese national.

One day, while finishing inspecting a bungalow renovation works, he discovered a huge pile of sand and a huge pile of rubbish in the uncompleted swimming pool. He asked Ramooni, the indian national to get a shovel to clear up the sand. He then called out to Yusof, the malaysian, to use a broom to sweep up all the rubbish in the pool site and dispose of it.

Both Ramooni and Yusof feebacked to PCK that they do not have those tools in the worksite. PCK then asked Zhenji, the chinese workers, whom just drove the lorry back from lunch to get the supplies ready for both Ramooni and Yusof. PCK then drove his Jaguar to Bedok to meet some other tiles suppliers.

At night, PCK returned to the bungalow and was furious. The big pile of sand was still there and the rubbish uutouched! He summoned Ramooni and Yusof and shouted, "Why in the world are these rubbish and sand still here!!!??".

Ramooni and Yusof said,"Boss, we tried looking for Zhenji to take the supplies but he is nowhere to be found!"

"Zhenji WHERE ARE YOU?" PCK shouted into the bungalow and at this moment, a human springed out from the pile of sand and rained Ramooni, Yusof and PCK with sand.

"SURPRISE!!!" shouted Zhenji.

Happy Birdday Darnie

Happy Birthday Darnie. Well, you're 23 now. Growing older and hope to see you wiser in the Lord too. Well, dun worry too much about your receding hairline, it is natural for many. At least Yun Nam can help, you just have to let them earn your money. You are gaining a little weight too, now standing at 56 to 57 varying. Well, hope you will gain more mass as you try to eat more. Your muscles are toning up with those gym sessions, but you really got to try to do it more regularly. The tan is coming, but it is still uneven and face it, you are a fair guy. So just do it leisurely at your time and comfort. Take it slowly yah? Girlfriend must have been top of your mind right? well, just live your life and believe your friends that singlehood is heaven. If it comes, it comes yah? So why not just build your character? A fat, balding, poor man with a character of gold are price possesions for many girls. You can expect many exciting ministries in your church that God will put you in. So this 23rd year, strive for the Lord yah? While u revert back to the commoners, taking public transport, use it as a time to gaze at our city skyline lor. You can still use the Kangoo, Corolla and Camry when you have the opportunity to. You should try to make more friends, esp female friends, because your ration of male to female friends is 5:1. But remember, friends in deed are friends whom you will feel they are when u need to feel them and u do feel them. Try to love yourself Darnie. You look good just the way you are. So what if you are on the lighter side? So what if you are on the less glam side? You see. Life is unfair but God is good. Pain is inevitable but misery is optional. Look at you Darnie. You play the piano and people are bless. You as a musician, is used by God to bless the thousands each week. This honor is more prized than trying to fit into the world. Look at you as you are, a friend to your friends, a blessing to those you've blessed. In many people's lives, there is only that one Darnie they will see until they pass on. That Darnie is you. They will remember you the skinny Darnie. The one whom brought laughter into their hearts. Your jokes. You music that blessed them. When you die, why care how u are, how u look. What you want is to die with that legacy of being that Darnie, whom had blessed them people in their lives and had made at least a difference just like those starfishes whom the little kid threw back into the seas. You are special Darnie. You are the only 1 Darnie in this world. Face it, there can be no other like you Darnie. Treasure this life on Earth. Treasure this opportunity to make a difference. X-Treme Teens Church

Little did I realise that my talent in drums was pre-planned by God for me to serve with my fellow friends for the X-Treme Teens Church in FCBC.

Even though the attendance was little, but we believe we were there to minister with youthful songs of praise and worship. We will be playing more of these services and it is such an honor to serve God in this area!!!

gonna take this opportunities to beef up my drumming skills and who knows I can play for main service one day?.. wahahahah!!!!!

It's Me meeting Girl! =P

My latest blessing came in the form of a book! It is written by Joshua Harris entitled Boy Meets Girl. What comes between "How do you do?" and "I do"? How do you find a lifetime partner in a way that's God-centered, not self-centered? Boy Meets Girl is an honest, romantic and refreshingly biblical look at relationships. It's about dating with a purpose. About friendship plus possibility. About romance chaperoned by wisdom. And it's for all ages -- single or not. Married couples or parents can benefit from reading this book to encourage and counsel the single adults in their lives, too.

This blessing was given to me by this young sweet, lovely and petite lady from my church. I am so tempted to post her pic here but I think I shall not do it out of respect. I really would never expect a girl to gimme a book such as this, but I tot I actually needed this. After playing for service, I immeidately went on the bus home and while on the bus, I read 22 pages and mind u, the books describes so many things and situations that I am facing now and what I am feeling. Even till today, I am still faithfully reading this book in front of the TV even. Heehee.

This book is really so romantic and above-all, it is guided by God's Word. I really wanna say a BIG THANK YOU to you. Yes you. The lady that gave me this book. I really think it is very sweet of you. I am very blessed. Thank you!!!! =)

Wah Man! Darnie has been far from giving quality blogging. But hey! What do you mean by quality blogging? Actually i dun really know. Famous blogs nowadays features female who are pretty and have some very provoking topics etc, or even people who gives actually very good writings, to people who sworn for they whole life to criticise the garhmen... if u know what it means!!! Wahahahaahah...

I say quality blogging for me in my regards, is entires that allow my fellow followers of my blog (I am a follower of Jesus, and I do not intend to make blog readings into a religion... for only Jesus is the way...) to know about me and may partake in the joy and sorrows I have in my life. Writings, coupled with pictures once in a while seems to work well. Ok now that you have completed BLOG101 and understood what it means to bid for this course under Prof Darnie the Pig, we shall start our first lecture in this wonderful Bras Basah Campus!... and ok if u are still wondering if i am a pig, kermit, or some darn knee...well it is a long story...ask me out for coffee.

Today was my first day going with Ben down to Hongka Secondary School to serve in the Boy's Brigade. I really enjoyed myself there. We had cheap canteen food first. It was followed by an interesting fall in parade conducted by the CSM. I was literally laughing my way through la. In my BB days, parade where got so slack and funny one. Nonetheless, I had a priceless laugh. After the parade, it was devotional conducted by Ps William. First, I had to go to the toilet to fill 2 buckets of water. Funny thing is we never used it and I still dunno where it was after the whole day..wahahahah. Before devotional was worship. As usual, Ben on the guitar! I was the transparancy boy. This school is so high tech. In smu, our projector is a huge bulky machine, and over here in Hongka, it is a sleek and portable black thingy.... some kind of top edge SMU we have eh? I was shifting the lyrics the whole worship..hahah. Well, at leasdt i had a job to do and dun feel weird.

Then devotion was a inspring sharing by Ps William on servanthood!!! So inspiring!!! After devotion was Games Time!!! I changed into my PT kit and went to the basketball court and had a heaven of a good time playing ball with Ps and the BB boys and Ben. Even though I sux at ball games, I enjoyed myself tremendously and scored 2 or 3 goals i think!!! woohoooo!!!! I really enjoyed myself and I kinda miss the fun I had already. It is barely 6 hours la!!! from when we ended.

After BB, was G12 meeting (or cell group for those of u not in the G12 vision...yes u are forgiven) with Ben and Nigel. Today was our first cell meeting!!! Had a great time!!!! Nigel looks real cool in his VJC uniform... my old days in TPJC cannot fight la... our uniform at least is better than TJC ... Wahahahahaha!!! ( I hope I do not start a fight btw all the Jcs..) Cell ended and we got a SMS saying that Sharul's (our FCBC full time guitarist) intestines exploded... so we rushed down to SGH to visit him and realised he had successfully completed his operation and is in recovery. Apparantly his stomach ulcer broke and bursted.... so need to go operation.. The SMS was a lil drama. Sharul said he felt loved because so many people went to visit him..hahaha. We prayed for him and left for dinner. The carpark cost $1.22 and we came out with this logo...

Wahahahaha. We went to this old school hawker at Tiong Bahru. We ordered 2 $5 Rojak. Hey It is really good. I wished I had camera to show u guys man!!!! It rox totally!!!!! I had the best Fried Rice too!!!! the tecture is so nice la!!! ARgh!!!!!!!!

I have a friend called joan. She is going crazy and she is scaring me... =( From a person who replies me single word reply in 20min, to someone typing all over the window with emoticons... This is really scary. From a low profile musician to yearnign to play as much as possible. This is bad. From a hermit to askign me out for lunch... this is REAlly bad. As you all know, SMU is proudly situated in the new city campus in Bras Basah. Nice place, nice shopping centres and most of all, MRT stations. But I am not really too glad, cause I have lost my ability to drive to school. Yes, I drive a Kangaroo but cannot afford to pay the parking. Irony right? Yup. So I am reverting back to the good old ways of standing on buses and Mrts. Long gone are the days of driving friends around and doing logistics etc. Got good and got bad la. But the choice is for us to make the best out of it. Now I can spend time with friends going shopping or to build friendship while walking around etc. =)

oh did i mention, I've passed my IPPT but there is no monetory reward. I took it in SAFRA. The place is AIR-CON!!!! woohoo....and i run on the track while watching TV and listening to radio...with the instructoe constantly giving us moral support!!!! my timing was about 12min 07sec!!! Wah!!!!

Sunday was rehearsal for Xtreme Teens Church. The band consisted of Ben and Kenny on Guitars. Lindon on bass. Nigel on vocals and me on drums!!! Wah we are best man!!! The music rocks!!!! I totally love this band setup. I am seriously considering moving on to drums from keys!

A Picture Tells A Thousand Words

I am a firm believer in the saying that a picture says more than is needed. So to my blog-starved fans out there, from FCBC, SMU, Mars, Saturn, Roadside, road-sweepers to insurance agents... this is what has been happening around me....









There are some of the people around me in SMU whom are very special to me. We are all gathered and bonded with a common interest: MUSIC. And it is wonderful because we are not just students in SMU, but also close knit friends. Without them, life will be forever different.
