VIVACE went well and Obligato did great. The closing performance by 7 Till Dawn made me so miss playing with them and I am ready to start jamming with them again and write songs too. Jamiel did our WHAT AM I number and I feel a sense of nostalgic or what ever you call it! They got a really cool pianist to take over me. he rocks !!!!

7 Till Dawn: .... celebrating Jamiel, Ant, Justin, Jason, Fifi and the pianist... and i dunno me in or not..

Our booths went well and we had a deal of fun too! Just glad it is over. Obligato performed for an audience with the SMU president gracing it at then!!! Phew... its over and it is back to Convocation 2005!! ....

This is a post I borrowed from my friend Adrain who had kindly allowed me to use it~!

Tribute to Mab the Babe
Adrian the Great and Mab the Babe went camping in the desert. After they got their tent all set up, they both fell sound asleep. Some hours later, Adrian wakes Mab and says, "Holy cow, look towards sky, what you see?"Mab the Babe replies, "I see millions of stars.""What that tell you?" asked Adrian the Great.Mab the Babe ponders for a minute then says, "Astronomically speaking, it tells me there are millions of galaxies and potentially billions of planets. Astrologically, it tells me that Saturn is in Leo. Time wise, it appears to be approximately a quarter past three in the morning. Theologically, it's evident the Lord is all-powerful and we are small and insignificant. Meteorologically, it seems we will have a beautiful day tomorrow. What's it tell you, dear?"Adrian the Great is silent for a moment, then says, "Holy cow, you are blurrer than sotong. Someone has stolen tent."

* Pls dun hit me sweetie. I’m sorry for the above joke, but it’s the truth. Teeheehee. Always remember: it’s your flaws that are attractive to me.

Buddies from the outer world...

Did I ever not mention about some of my bestest buddies in SMU? Ok here today is a tribute to two of them. They come from somewhere in the 'outer regions'.

1. Ng Yuhong aka Bigfatgump, a basketball player from Malaysia and also a proud to be Malaysian perfect pitch pianist that did SMU proud with his piano skills. Looks like jay Chou. He wears pink most of the time and I dunno why. Likes to challenge me and points out my mistakes.

2. Benarde aka Bernice. Gym fanatic. Makes me envious of his rock hard bod! Sings for SoundFoundry. Plays a lil piano but is a classical trained guitarist i think. Although I do not believe fully. Know to me as a very confidant person of himself and takes thing as it goes... happy go lucky. Never depressed.

This 2 kids called me today and asked me to fetch them to my place to sit sit. So I had to specially pump $10 fuel just to fetch them. They spoiled my plan to leave a empty tanked vehicle at home so that someone else will pump it up for me. Sianz. So I went to fetch them and incured $1 ERP somemore. Stopped at bus lane waiting for them and had 5 SBS behind me waiting for me to scramble off! How stress!!!!!

So there they came, to my place. Demanded I feed them water. Demanded I let them use internet. And make a mess out of my cosy bed. So many crude remarks about my room came from them. Haiyah!

They appeared to never have seen a lift with mirrors and lights and classical music with aircon and demanded I take pictures of them in the lift... how funny right?...Ok here you have it then. Pics and more pics!!!! ENJOY!!!!!!

Failure

I handed my tag over to him. *peep* and the computer prints out a slip. "Try harder next time", said the innocent looking NSF in the counter. He grinned abit. Because I am too fit to fail the last station. Yes you are right. I FAILED MY IPPT for the first time since I Ord-ed. He looked in shock too as he handed me the slip of 'fate'. I looked at it already knowing what was in it for me. I did well but failed miserably for the 2.4KM run. I already know why I kena this kind of mess. I have gymed often, but nv engaged in long distance running. Stamina was weak like jelly.

I was the first in line when the run started but I was the last when the run ended. I am really ashamed of myself. I can imagine all the older CAT Y and Z pple looking at me and saying, "Wah, this leng zai can run or not? Why so slow like turtle one?" Well, it is over. It stamps FAIL on the slip and ends of saying Try harder next time.....

Yup, slow like a snail! There was this guy beside me who talked to me. "Brudder how dod you do?" and I replied him saying I failed my running and it was not worth it. He failed his SBJ and passed the rest. So I think on his side it is even more sad. Just jumping and he failed just because of that. Not worth it. For me, I could have falled out during the last lap but i ran on anyway and the PTI said good try. Well I am proud of myself in some sense.

I sat in my Kangoo with the a/c at full blast and sat in shock inside the carpark for 15minutes. I had a plitting headache. And I tell muself I gonna run abit more and faster and prepare for the next test. In BMT, we took IPPT every week!! So what am I scared of?

I may go take the IPPT in SAFRA, meaning no money reward but I will see how la. $100 is worth alot. Imagine all the flowers you can buy for the girl u like. Maybe some jewellery.

Sigh, gonna start running. Join me at ECP or the gym? Comments or some remaks? MSN or Tag me or email me at rihua.lin.2003@business.smu.edu.sg

Tata!

Ok I am tired. I feel being taken advantage of. I am doing so much because the others does not seem to be anywhere in sight. I complained about it and now some SMU friends think i am such an a**. Ok maybe I was wrong, but can u blame me for feeling this way? Or I should feel like I am a hero dying for the world at my own expense and own money and feel proud of it? You dun get it right? Then dun. Cause after this saga I am washing myself clean of this and you take over the dirty job.

18 July 2005, a day where a group of friends gathered and celebrated a wonderful day overseas! They are Darnie, BOH, Shujun, Jiaxiang and Joshua. Packed nicely into a Kangoo Van, they sped and disregarded the Singapore law of 70Km/h just like any singaporeans. The rainy and cloudy atmosphere dampened no spirits.

Reaching the Checkpoint they parked because Malaysia allowed no van unless special permit. We walked through the tunnels of time as you can see in the picture here. We had fun joking about how Ben might just sprained his back again. Woohoo!!! and alas, we saw Ben doing a dance here and there, no shame. =)

As we walked into the JB environment, it all looked so different from homeland Singapore. The traffic was changed, the buildings changed, the people changed, the PRICE changed! Scooters every where and there were some pretty buildings as well. It was so beautiful in its own sense! I felt so light and free from the heavyness back in Singapore. Some how it felt just different. The mood was different. Joshua was snapping with his thousand dollars camera while i snapped with this free one!

As the group of 5 Singaporeans make their way into this land of delight, nothing stops them as they headed towards FOOD! Walking through the different stores the group decided to practise wisdom! - TO EAT ENOUGH SO THAT WE CAN STILL EAT LATER ON! Seafood is really our main purpose you see. CRABS, FISH.... argh!%$#^

What else to order than the famous MALAYSIAN AUTHENTHIC MSG LOADED RUMLY BURGER!!!!! All of us ordered our share of burger and chose those that fit our wants! As for me, Darnie ordered a SPECIAL DOUBLE PLATTY BEEF WITH EGG!!! It cost me just 3.50RM and that is like how cheap la!!! As I tried to sink my teeth into the burger, it was crying out DUN EAT ME PLEASE!!! But I had paid for it to be eaten, of not it will be such a waste right? The height of the burger is larger than my mouth but nonetheless I gobbled it up in minutes!!!! Fierce man!!! Of course, Ben do not miss a cup of traditional Teh Haliah Ultimate!!!

After a short makan, we decided to go shopping! We did not really buy much. We were on budget anyway. We literally treat it as a walk to digest our foods so as to eat more! So there we were, walking and walking! In the pic, both Ben and Shujun unashamely marched like little soilders in the mall! And therefore here I am unashamely making fun of this candid pic! Muahahahah!!!!!

Soon we were on our way to this Pasar Malam that had everything! Enjoy the pics!

They sold almost everything. Vegetables, fruits, hardware, shoes, foods and even fishes!! This is almost awesome! The most wonderful delight is almost all the foodstalls!!!

Ok soon we reached our destination and main objectives!! SEAFOOD!!!! We had Pepper crab and chilli crabs, Oat sotong, Veg and CatFish and topped with fresh fruit juice which had plumps added to it! IT TASTES AWESOME!

Total Cost for the dinner amounted to $160RM which is really a pretty good deal. Well as the ending goes, we were tired and went home to sleep. Less a Darnie staying till now which is 3.12am to blog so that you readers can be entertained for these few minutes. So, please tag or message me to make me feel loved! Anything to say? MSN me or email me! =) Till then, a great trip ahead for all! I will most love to go into JB for another makan trip with you guys! Love ya!!!!

Internal Joke Alert: Ramly Platty -> Ramly Panty =P

HARLOW guys! Back by Popular Demand, this is my art work on "How much do you love God". Dilemma because a couple has to choose between turkey or a Christmas sermon at the same time. Suay right? Know what is the solution?

1) Tapao and eat during service

2) Eat and attend the online recording later on. LOL

This is a piano I drafted for a friend who asked for it! Nice and grand right? That is why it is called a grand piano!

Hey folks! I am really doing myself a favor. I am going on this "LIFE Camp thingy". We've called it out names before: Perhaps 'Love Interest For Everyone', 'Life Issues For Everyone', whatever and the list goes on. Well, I call it the 'Lacking Inside For Eternal?' Camp. Maybe this camp is gonna prove everything.

I have prepared a BATAM SURVIVOR KIT. Basically it is all I need to enjoy my 2 days there. First, a form u fill up for the mundane administrative thing. Then a little booklet called a passport they love to stamp on you for. Last but not least, trouble created by man for man, the MONIES!! With these, I am probably gonna have a ok only time over there in BATAM.

Destination is the HOLIDAY INN BATAM. I really hope that no Tsunamies or terrorist attacks foil my happiness there.

I really hope the place looks as beautiful as those shown in the pictures!

Well, the fun thing my friends tell me is that I can go karting. I think that will be pretty fun tho. Just got my License recently still on P Plate. But I guess I can handle these things pretty well bah?

Maybe some girls will just knock me out but they have not heard of the Thunder Darnie that shows his power then the need arises too. I can imagine myself going so fast that when I pass by pple, their clothings get torn apart and glass shatters and food and drinks splashed into the air and such. I know I can be of such danger but I try to control myself.

If you know Darnie, you know this pig seldoms embark on shopping trips. Not to mention that this stupid fish got to be dragged by some JC gals during his JC days to go shopping because he cannot be bothered to shop for the most important and lucrative market - CLOTHS!

Recently, Darnie went to WATSON's and bought a GATSBY SPRAY ON WAX. The first project was to style up so he can go church with his hair FOR ONCE neatly prepared. Church goers in FCBC hasve commented he often appear on stage with his hair not styled and in a messy and ungalm presentation.

"I must say this stuff works well on my hair rather than using those applied using hands," said Darnie during the SHOPPER EXPRESS interview.

When asked how much he rated this product he said, "I have not tried other spray ons yet, but because it did its job well, i give 4 out of 5 bah."

This product retails as S$8 at all major retail stores!
