My once in a life time experience with Brisbane City Church Band... Awesome!

Woot!

Remember my last posting about me still doing up my new room? At last, my budget had been used and I have the perfect cosy room for myself! It is supposed to replicate a nice little botique hotel styled accomodation... laymen term... an Ikea showroom... hahaha..

Life is good.... cosy room... and a nice bike... Sweet!

This is where i spend most of my time reading my favourite novel, praying or simply sleeping and having sweet dreams!

I am beginning to like cycling again. My $900 2nd hand XTC 3 is making my life a lil more interesting now. It is that freedom you have when you are riding. You are constantly moving and you decide where you want to go, what speed and which direction.

It is better than being cramped at home, when you have nothing to do. You take your love on a ride, and the wind will lighten you. I will see if I have any little savings to spend and splurge. I should get a new wheelset, a thinner tyres ( ben is complaining that it is too fat..and i agree), lights, lizard guard.... and that should be it for now. See if i can weight ween it abit.

I love you XTC. I shall nickname you BARNABI from today onwards.

XTC 3

I am now a proud owner of a second hand bike which I bought @ S$900. Dunno if it is worth it but i enjoyed the ride totally. The size is just nice. Many parts are new as it was built by the previous owner from the frame onwards.

I am parting my Specialized as it will now belong to my friend for some $$$$. I will be a little richer after buying this bike. I would most probably not want a bike anymore. But, it seems some of my church friends are bikers too. Why not then get a cheap and good second hand bike to bike around.

Amen.

 

I am naked...

I took off everything I was wearing. I looked into the mirror and saw a naked me. I did some flexes just to check myself out. I combed my hair with my fingers and brushed it a little. Maybe it was time to relieve myself before I shower.

I sat down on the toilet seat. Just this moment I heard some noise from the ventilation window. It was as if someone was shifting something there. Could there be anyone? Impossible! Then I heard it again. Now, I felt something brushed across my hair. I jumped up! I looked on the floor. It was a roach.

I ran out immediately. Then it was only that I realised I was stark naked in my room. Thankfully, the window curtains were drawn. I grabbed a towel and wrap my dignity. I ran down and saw a can of insecticide. I grabbed it and ran upstairs.

For 15 minutes, I fought the invisible roach. Sprayed everywhere and it was no where to be found. I can't sleep tonight unless I see it dead! Then it was now that the roach flew pass me and landed on the wall. I sprayed and for the next 5 minutes, I fought till it overturned and lied motionless on a pool of insecticide oil.

I won. I picked it up, flushed it down the toilet. I looked into the mirror. I think I look good. I went into the shower, and sprayed hot water on myself....

make me rich!..haha

Recently saw a hoo-ha about Adam Khoo's secret to being a millionaire. About all those internet marketing thingy, it is always in the US etc. It is really exciting to see there actually is a SINGAPORE example!!! *faintz*

His site is pretty impressive. Same as those internet selling one. I never knew he actually made HEADLINES in SINGAPORE papers!!!! I suppose he is really famous in Singapore, not to mention rich! ... hahaha.. These are the pics of his face in newspapers.



I think his stuff should be impressive. If I have time and got $$ enough to spare, I might just buy and listen to see if I can use any of his strategy to earn $$$.

But I am supposed to earn commision by promoting him? If u are interested, maybe u should buy from this Singapore millionaire and let me earn enough commision to buy the set myself... hahahaah!!!!

It is me Bird Day

That was my mini-bird day celebration! Ben, Teck, Andy, Shu and Eleta and me! Had a dinner using 2 fishes that we caught off the sea. You see, in the morning, Collin, Ben, Shu, Andy and myself went on a boating trip to catch fish! Here is some of me pics.

So there it is. I caught 2 fishes in total. That is the bird day boy luck! The rest got more and bigger fish. I was the WORST. Heh, but it was super enjoyable. I am a lobster now, as the sun fried my women-desire fair skin. More pictures at BENSTER

Mr Kenny also gave me a Sponge Bob Square pants that can pop the eyes and tounge. Eeks!! haha.

Shake Shake Shake it all!

Today, me and Bern went to Planetshakers at my church. Firstly, I've told him to wait for me at Hall 10. Obviously, EXPO does not have a Hall 10, rather a MAX Pavillion. Dun ask me why, this hall is the same as the other nine halls. Word Play? So poor Bern had to walk around the industrial estate. When he finally met me, he was sweaty all over.

The Praise and Worship was great, and I think God ministered to many! After the whole thing, Bern and I went to coffeeshop to have supper. Then we started talking about God and the Bible and such and it went on. It is such a blessing because Bern is that kind of friend that shoo away christian last time. Now, he is a dedicated Jesus follower. His story was interesting. I believe the Holy Spirit led him to pick up a christian book and from there, God came into his life. If you have time, ask him!

Terror on the loose

Many of us do not know this, but the terror regime is picking up once again. Just today, UK reported foiling a terrorist attempt to down planes flying to the US, and the alert was raised to CRITICAL, the highest.

Pan Pacific once more! I am Pan Pacific!

Once more, I present the 4 shining star interns from the Singapore Management University. From all walks of disciplines, from Marketing to Finance to Human Resources, these 4 interns made their mark at the Pan Pacific Singapore Hotel. It is about making a difference! Congrats to these interns, whom will be soon completing their internship, for a miserable pay, but a wealth of experience and opportunities!

This is my whole department! The one with the wig is my director aka big boss. This was the Dinner and Dance. I had a great deal of fun! I am so gonna miss them!

I am Pan Pacific

Yupz, this is me. But I am not asking you to look at me, but the scene behind! Guess where I am? Haha, I am at the super dooper famous Pan Pacific Singapore Hai Tien Lou, 37 floors up the Singapore skyline. My collegue decided to treat me to Hai Tien Lou. The food is fantastic. Try the Wasabe Prawn. It is totally crazy. Super juicy fat and crunchy prawn. Service is super fantastic! Food is super Great. View is super Great! Way to go Hai Tien Lou!!!! The beef I tried was totally juicy! There is also this fish dish, where I get a while fillet of fish, totally mind blowing!

So far I've tried stuffs at the hotel's premise:

• Hai Tien Lou (collegue treat)
• Brunch (boss treat)
• SummerHouse (boss treat)
• Atrium (plain water only, paiseh to ask Boss to treat great drinks) and its Cabanna (school project, coffee only...=( )

What's left is Keyaki and Zamubuca. I am so blessed la. Who else can boast about their internship having so many treats at a 5-star hotel?... totally blessed!

Just last night, my boss gave another treat at SRC cricket club. Woah!... their Wasabe PRawn can fight man....BUT...the service and environment nothing compared to the Pan Pacific one.

Sigh, internship ending soon. Gonna miss my workplace, my collegue, my boss, my intern friends...plus the so many associates i know there..

Scott Swank the GM, Miss Wong the superwomen, Michale the Austin Powers, David D the dunny man, Jessica, my boss Evelyn a very nice boss, my PIE people, Catherine my very nice new Education Director, Ivan the Enginner, Vincent, Alex, Oscar the housekeeping guy, my favourite chef Rohaizat, the housekeeping auntys i alwasy say hi to, the security guards who joke with me, the people who pester me for nametages, ID cards, the many friends I had, Miyuki San, Yuka San, Vincent from Atrium, Ibrahim the cook at Brunch...and alot of people who made my stay there so fantastic, no matter a director or a housekeeper or a toilet cleaner...I WILL MISS YOU!!!!!!

who knows, the world is round, i may be back one day?...craving for a place in the corporate office..or executive office..woohooo!
